In October of 2010, Blaine took Nichole out to Colorado to visit friends when she had a 4 day break from school. On the first full day there, they left from Denver to spend the night in Colorado Springs. The one thing Nichole wanted to do while there, was drive up Pike's Peak- so upon arriving in town the first thing the did was head to the Mountain. The weather was perfect and the drive up was beyond gorgeous. They made it to the top of the mountain in no time- and Blaine popped the question shortly after they reached the summit.
Nichole was so surprised- she had no clue that Blaine was planning on proposing. Of course she said yes as a bystander snapped picture for them. They were only at the summit for 30 minutes or so before they headed back down. Nichole ended up getting elevation sickness, and their night at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort was spent with Nichole being sick in bed.
